He served on the Edsall-class destroyer escort, the U.S.S. Savage.  He was honorably discharged on October 14, 1963.

Central New York’s rate of vaccination for hospital workers places it in the middle of the pack statewide. The region with the highest percentage done is the Finger Lakes, at 70.5%, Cuomo said. The Mid-Hudson region, at 57.9%, is lowest. Central New York includes Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, Onondaga and Oswego counties.
