New Delhi: Union minister Ramdas Athawale on Tuesday recited a poem in Upper House of Parliament to bid farewell to Congress Rajya Sabha MP Ghulam Nabi Azad whose term is coming to an end next week.
Participating in the farewell speech for Leader of Opposition Azad in his typical style, Athawale heaped praise on the rival political leader.
Republican Party of India (RPI) chief also said that if the Congress does not give a Rajya Sabha ticket to Azad, his party is willing to do so.
