Police seek help in identifying suspected purse snatcher at Capital City Mall

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. Police in Cumberland County are seeking help from the public in identifying a man suspected of attempting to use a pilfered credit card to make purchases at a Best Buy store last month.
On June 26, a woman called Lower Allen Township Police to report that he purse had been lost and later stolen while she shopped at the Capital City Mall, police say.

West Shore Home opens new Pa. office and training center

A home improvement company based in Hampden Township has expanded to the Philadelphia area.
West Shore Home has opened an office and a training center at 2495-A Boulevard of the Generals in West Norriton Township, Montgomery County near Norristown. The office opened on Wednesday.
The office provides office space, sales training facilities and a warehouse for custom bath, window and door products.
The company specializes in window, door, and bath remodeling and replacement, with most projects completed in just one day.
“With our Norristown location, we can now provide Philadelphia area homeowners with the convenience and efficiency of the West Shore Home experience,” B.J. Werzyn, president and CEO of West Shore Home said in a press release.
96-year-old Cumberland County business sold to Bedford County company

The acquisition consists of three aggregate plants, four hot mix asphalt plants, two ready mixed concrete plants, paving and heavy highway construction in the Harrisburg area.
“The facilities are ideally situated between NESL’s existing Chambersburg and Allentown locations, expanding its construction materials footprint and market scope into the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania market,” New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co. said in a press release.
The 96-year-old Hempt Bros. provides highway and road construction, excavation, asphalt paving and concrete paving. The company also supplies stone, asphalt, and ready mix concrete throughout the region.
