Police appeals after dog attack and knife point robbery

Man attacked by dog  A 24-year-old man had to go to hospital after being attacked by a dog in Banbury.  At around 6.20pm on February 4, the man was walking from Easington Road onto St Georges Crescent when he was targeted by a man, in his late 20s, and his large white, shorthaired dog wearing a harness. Police are now hunting for the dog owner, who is described as being 5ft 11ins tall with medium length brown hair with short stubble and at the time was wearing a black coat and grey jogging bottoms.  Report information by using reference 43210049092. Police appeal following robbery in Broad Oak Park in Oxford

Thames Valley Police is now appealing for CCTV footage and images of the robbery. Between 6pm and 6.20pm on Saturday February 6, two 18-year-old men were approached by a man in Broad Oak Park, adjacent to the Eastern Bypass Road in Wood Farm, Oxford. The offender threatened the victims with a knife, making a stabbing movement towards one of them before stealing a black Adidas shoulder bag. The victims were not injured in the incident. The offender is described as a white man, aged in his early twenties, between 5ft 11ins and 6ft 3ins tall and of a slim build wearing dark clothing.

CM inaugurates Hub road

CM inaugurates Hub road PHOTO: RADIO PAKISTAN QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal on Saturday inaugurated the Hub Western Bypass Road which connects the industrial city to Karachi and laid the foundation stone of the Eastern Bypass Road project. The Eastern Bypass Road project consisting 5-kilometres road will connect Hub with Saqran Road and will be completed in a short period of one year. The road will be constructed at a cost of Rs150 million, while the Western Bypass Road project completed at a cost of Rs630 million. The ceremony was attended by Balochistan Parliamentary Secretary on Minority Affairs Dinesh Kumar and former provincial minister Ali Baloch.
