Englewood man reported missing from Gilpin County campground
The Gilpin County Sheriff said Harold Taylor s car was towed after being left on the road of a campground, along with two reports from people worried about him.

GILPIN COUNTY, Colo. Sheriff s deputies are looking for a man from Englewood who has gone missing from a campground in Gilpin County after his car was towed and friends worried about his whereabouts reached out to authorities.
Harold Taylor, 65, was seen in the campground on July 22 where people reported seeing him with a backpack and hiking poles, said the Gilpin County Sheriff s Office (GCSO).

DENVER â Crashes and weather conditions have been impacting roads in the mountains and the Front Range throughout Thursday evening.
A safety closure is in place in both directions on I-70 between Exit 359 for US 24 and Exit 438 for Rose Avenue. I-70 from Limon to Burlington is experiencing whiteout conditions with zero visibility, according the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT).
A crash at Exit 20 on C-470 has all lanes blocked, requiring traffic to use on and off ramps as a detour.
Colorado State Patrol has also reported a safety closure on US 285 for Denver-bound drivers between Aspen Park and Windy Point because of multiple crashes.

What matter is people like Sarah Lawrence are here. Shelby was somebody that I got to know through playing volleyball with her up here in our community, Lawrence said. She was the best volleyball player in the league without question.
Cody Allen and his wife Shelby Allen were both firefighters with the Central City Fire Department.

CENTRAL CITY, Colo. The deaths of two Central City firefighters has been determined to be accidental carbon monoxide poisoning, according to a release from the Gilpin County Sheriff s Office.
The couple, Cody Allen, 29, and his wife Shelby Allen, 27, were found dead in their Central City home, Friday morning, GCSO said.
Cody Allen started as a volunteer in July 2009 and had recently been hired as a lieutenant, according to GCSO. Shelby Allen worked as a volunteer with the department since February 2016.
