Emergency services were called to a construction site on Gilgandra Road, North Bondi, shortly before 8am following reports that a brick wall had collapsed on a person. The incident occurred on the same site where a different wall collapsed on October 30. The previous incident at the Bondi site has no relationship to the current matter and remains under active investigation, a spokesman for SafeWork NSW said. The 23-year-old was rushed to St Vincent s Hospital in a serious condition with head, chest and shoulder injuries after the wall fell on top of him, a NSW Ambulance spokesman said. The man, believed to be a construction worker, was working at the Gilgandra Road site in North Bondi when the horror incident unfolded.
