Oxygen does an admirable job of conveying a claustrophobic huis clos, by incorporating a sci-fi element in the form of a protagonist who suddenly awakens to find herself trapped in a cryogenic chamber, covered in electrodes and wrapped in a fabric cocoon which she must tear her way through with any means available to her (she’s held tight by a belt around her waist and has restraints around her feet) in order to breathe properly. Oxygen is an upcoming American-French film, which is directed and produced by Alexandre Aja and written by Christie LeBlanc. The film used 3 production companies which are Gateway Films, Wild Bunch and Echo Lake Entertainment.
The premise of the film shows a woman named Liz that wakes up in a medical cryo unit, with no memories of who she is or how she got there. The unit has a voice named Milo, who refuses to let her leave even though she is running out of Oxygen. Fans are highly anticipating the release of the movie.
