LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) Members of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration are answering an emergency call for help at the southern border. A team of five is headed to Arizona to volunteer at a center for immigrants.
Of all the bags that pass through the La Crosse Regional Airport, few are packed for a journey of faith. “For any of us sisters I think it’s a response and call, and something you feel in your heart for folks,” says Sister Theresa Keller.

MOORHEAD When 14-year-old Ausama Abdulazie made his way into the Moorhead High School gym Friday, Feb. 19, his family and a three-wheeler were there to surprise him.
It s a shiny, new way for Ausama to get around. His personality and heart are so much bigger than the cerebral palsy he s lived with since birth. Once on the bike, it was all about freedom and independence. He already has plans to be outside with the new AmTryke.
