In all, Ford of Canada is donating 95 vehicles to educational institutions across the country. They were damaged by flooding in Alberta last year and to the point where they are unsafe to drive again. But they still give students an opportunity to work on vehicles featuring some of the latest technolgy. Ford of Canada is also providing students and faculty access to their online automotive career exploration (ACE) training. A partnership program between Ford Motor Company of Canada, Ford dealerships, and post-secondary institutions, the ACE program aims to raise awareness and increase interest in career opportunities within the automotive industry.

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 9, 2021 /PRNewswire/ ForeFront Power, a leading developer of distributed solar and energy storage projects in the U.S., today announced commercial operation of the largest solar project in Kane County, Ill. With 7,384 panels, the 2.8-megawatt project delivers power to the Mooseheart Child City and School (Mooseheart), a non-profit residential childcare facility for children and teens in need. The project created more than 44 jobs during the construction and operation phases.
The Swindon’s hospital raised around £2.2 million through charging staff, patients, and visitors to park last year. Of that, £1.4m was paid by patients and visitors, while £768,640 came in through charges, NHS Digital data revealed. Both the City of St. Elmo and the Village of Ramsey will have contested races for mayor in the upcoming April 6 Consolidated Election.
In St. Elmo, incumbent Mayor H.L. “Ernie” Myers filed his petition to run for another term last week and will be opposed by Kimberly Baron who also filed her petition last week to run for Mayor. For Treasurer, longtime City Treasurer Mary Magnus has filed to run for another term. In the city’s Ward 1, Sandra Mace has filed her petition to run for re-election. In Ward 2, Kenny Gammons has filed to run for another term and for the unexpired 2-year term in Ward 2, Danielle Fontaine has filed to run for that seat. In Ward 3, Bob Wells has filed a petition to seek re-election.
