A teacher at a prestigious public school has been barred after taking students to a strip club during a central America tour.
Richard Glenn, 55, had been a teacher at £9,800-a-term Longridge Towers independent school near Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland, for 12 years when he was sent home six days into a three-week trip.
The computer science teacher was in charge of a group of 16 to 18-year-olds when he got drunk with his students and brought them to a strip club, The Sun reported.
The married father-of-two also exposed himself to the female trip leader in their shared hotel room.

A private school teacher took pupils to a strip club during an “educational” trip to Costa Rica, a misconduct panel has heard.
Richard Glenn, 55, was sent back to the UK due to his behaviour on the trip and later fired from Longridge Towers, a £29,000-a-year co-educational boarding school near the Scottish borders in Northumberland, the hearing was told.
As head of sixth form at the school, he had been chosen as the sole member of staff to accompany pupils on the trip to Costa Rica which was led by an external company between July 5 and July 11 2019.

Teacher Richard Glenn was sacked for gross misconduct
The sixth form head was in charge of a group of 16 to 18-year-olds from a posh boarding school.
His bad behaviour involved drinking with pupils who were underage.
During one booze-up he told a student: “I’m going to kick your f g head in” and said to another: “I’m going to f g kill you.”
