Grant to Help North Central Wisconsin Workforce Development Board Fill Rural Healthcare Positions

1:34 One thing the pandemic has not changed is the need for the healthcare workers in rural areas. A 2018 Wisconsin Hospital Association report says only 8% of Wisconsin hospital CEOs believe the state will have enough physicians in ten years to meet the health care demands of an aging population. Hospitals and clinics in rural parts of Wisconsin need more workers. The Wisconsin Hospital Association estimates every county in Wisconsin will have 20-percent or more their population over the age of 60 by 2030. And an aging population requires more health care. The North Central Wisconsin Workforce Development Board is one of several organizations recently granted funds to help bring more healthcare works to rural Wisconsin.

The petition, due to be discussed at the Scottish Parliament on Wednesday, has been lodged by retired GP Dr Gordon Baird on behalf of the Galloway Community Hospital Action Trust.

Sheetal Nanda asked panchayats to identify goals for themselves which they need to accomplish after completion of this training programme. She added that another batch would be trained in Kashmir soon. Director Rural Sanitation J&K, Tariq Hussain Ganai, informed that the objective of this training programme is to develop conceptual understanding on the Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) guidelines, to create awareness on community led interventions for planning, implementation and monitoring of various components of this Mission and to demonstrate community-led processes and technological interventions of SLWM components at village level.
