Palm Beach Empty Bowls event to be held Feb. 26 Guests will be served via drive-thru pick up CAPEHART and last updated 2021-02-23 14:01:10-05 PALM BEACH, Fla. — The Palm Beach County Food Bank is holding their eighth annual Empty Bowls event to help families in need. Empty Bowls is a national event that raises money for hunger relief, inviting the public to eat simply, so others can simply eat. This year s event will take place Feb. 26 at the Bethesda-by-the-Sea church on Palm Beach from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests will be served via a drive-thru soup pick-up on Barton Avenue.

Palm Beach Daily News With  the slogan “Eat Simply So Others Can Simply Eat,” the eighth annual Palm Beach Empty Bowls event returns Feb. 26 with a mission to raise funds for the Palm Beach County Food Bank and help those who are struggling during the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of the pandemic, attendees will not be able to enjoy the soups on site at the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea as they have in past years. Instead, the event will have a drive-thru pick-up option from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church and a delivery option for orders of four or more. Delivery range is limited to the town and downtown West Palm Beach.

Empty Bowls drive-thru is Saturday

Courtesy-Empty Bowls FB page COLUMBUS, Ind. – The 23rd annual Empty Bowls has been converted to a drive-thru this year and is set for this Saturday, February 20, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Donner Center. Empty Bowls raises money for six area food pantries and shelters. In addition to a hot meal of homemade soups and bread, you can purchase bowls made by local potters. Proceeds go to organizations addressing hunger and homelessness in Bartholomew County: Love Chapel, Brighter Days Housing, Horizon House Homeless Shelter, Community Center of Hope, Turning Point Domestic Violence Services, Salvation Army, and Thrive Alliance.
