GILGIT: Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Khalid Khurshid Khan has said that Delta virus, which is an Indian variant of coronavirus, is spreading in the region.
Speaking at a press conference in Gilgit on Friday, he along with information minister Fatahullah Khan and law minister Syed Sohail Abbas said the positivity rate in GB was 8.5 per cent.
Mr Khurshid Khan said his government was closely following the Covid-19 situation in the region. However, he said no lockdown would be imposed in any part of the region.
