Police officer gunned down by son

karachi: A police officer was gunned down by his young son at their house in Korangi on Tuesday.
According to police, the incident took place in the Mehran Town area of Korangi where a young man shot and killed his father.
The deceased police officer was identified as inspector Deedar Abbasi who was posted at the investigation wing of the Boat Basin police station.
He was shot twice and died shortly after the incident. Police said the victim’s son, Kamran Abbasi, was responsible for the incident and he used his father’s official pistol to kill him.

Police nab four booked in Memon Goth gang-rape case
The FIR has been registered on charges of raping a 14-year-old girl

KARACHI:
The Memon Goth Police have arrested four persons on charges of raping a 14-year-old girl and filming her after the girl, H s father approached the police and got an FIR registered in connection with the matter.
The FIR has been registered under Sections 376 (II), 34 and 506 of the Pakistan Penal Code and Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997 on behalf of H s father. The Anti-Violent Crime Cell has been assigned the investigation of the case.
According to Memon Goth SHO Khalid Abbasi, the four persons nominated in the FIR, namely Adeel, Muzammil, Subhan and Ariz, are also teenagers, between the ages of 14 and 15.
The incident had taken place in January, police had initially failed to cooperate

KARACHI: Police on Friday arrested four teenagers over accusations of subjecting a 13-year-old girl to gang-rape and filming the act, in the city s Memon Goth area.
According to a Geo News report, nobody knew about the alleged gang-rape and the ordeal the minor went through until a video of the incident, filmed by the suspects, went viral on social media and was seen by the residents of the alleged victim s neighbourhood.
