Police officer gunned down by son

karachi: A police officer was gunned down by his young son at their house in Korangi on Tuesday.
According to police, the incident took place in the Mehran Town area of Korangi where a young man shot and killed his father.
The deceased police officer was identified as inspector Deedar Abbasi who was posted at the investigation wing of the Boat Basin police station.
He was shot twice and died shortly after the incident. Police said the victim’s son, Kamran Abbasi, was responsible for the incident and he used his father’s official pistol to kill him.
