AUSTIN, Texas The Austin Police Department has arrested a suspect accused of murdering Huston-Tillotson University senior Natalia Monet Cox earlier this year.
Officers found Cox dead in her Colonial Grand at Canyon Pointe apartment complex around 2:43 a.m. on March 31, after police received a 911 shoot/stab hotshot call.
Multiple callers had reported the sound of a door being kicked in and multiple shots being fired in the area. One caller stated they heard what sounded like a verbal disturbance before the shots were fired.

AUSTIN, TX A woman was found dead at an apartment complex in northwest Austin Wednesday morning, officials said.
Austin Police Department told reporters in a news conference early Wednesday officers received calls on reports of gunshots and a disturbance around 3 a.m. at the Colonial Grand at Canyon Pointe Apartments in the 9700 block of Farm-to-Market Road 620.
When officers arrived to the scene, they found a woman who had been shot within the apartment complex. She dead at the scene.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston Police Department released the name of the officer involved in a shooting with an armed man in West Ashley Wednesday morning.
The agency identified him as Senior Police Officer Christopher Malinowski, who has served with the department for eight years.
Police spokesman Charles Francis said Malinowski is on administrative leave as part of its standard procedure.
Police also released the officer’s discipline history. Those records indicate he received a compliment from a citizen praising his assistance to a stranded, elderly driver.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - A man who was injured during a gun battle with Charleston police officers was recently arrested for waving a gun in a restaurant, according to Police Chief Luther Reynolds.
During a Thursday afternoon press conference, police identified the suspect in Wednesday’s officer-involved shooting in West Ashley as 25-year-old George Grayson Sanner who remains hospitalized at MUSC in stable condition.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is investigating a fatal crash that occurred at an Orange County apartment complex.
Troopers say the crash happened just before 7 a.m. on Thursday at the Colonial Grand at Heather Glen Apartments on Heather Moss Drive.
The crash reportedly involved three vehicles and a pedestrian. FHP says a male pedestrian was pronounced dead at Osceola Regional Hospital.
