Every NFL team has a big board, its guide to maneuvering through all seven rounds of the draft process. This year, more so than in the past, player rankings will likely differ significantly among the 32 clubs.
For starters, teams may not have the same access to information for a particular prospect beyond the medical records and workout results, which will come from testing on campuses like a typical pro day. Clubs must conduct interviews virtually, so coaches will miss out on critical in-person interactions. Expect organizations with deep-rooted connections to collegiate programs to uncover more detailed scoops on a player.
An Actual Cap Number + Offseason Scenario By IronWarrior222 on Jan 21, 2021, 1:58pm CST +
Well, it only took half a year, but we know have a Salary Cap number for 2021. And luckily it s not $176 million. That was always seen as too low of a number and would cripple teams if it were set at that. With that said, what was the number revealed to be?
$180 Million.
Fuck. That is just as disappointing.
But, we now have a number to go off of that isn t just speculation. I mean, it is just a single report that says this, but I would take this more seriously than what was thrown around back at the start of the season. Now, as I ve done quite a few times, I will go over how the Vikings can get out of the hell they ve put themselves in.

3. Buffalo’s secondary needs to stand tall
The Bills defense is playing some of their best ball and it’s a group that’s recently tightened in the red zone. As my colleague Chris Trapasso points out, during the regular season, the Bills surrendered a touchdown on 60.6 percent of their opponents’ trips there, the 14th-lowest rate in the league. In two postseason games, Buffalo has allowed a touchdown on just two of its opponents eight red-zone trips (25 percent). Also, Taron Johnson turned an opponent’s red zone trip into six points for Buffalo with his pick six against the Ravens! If the Bills want to win the Super Bowl, that secondary is going to have to continue to play good football.
2021 NFL mock draft: Two rounds [The San Diego Union-Tribune :: BC-FBN-MOCKDRAFT:SD]
College football finished its season and crowned a champion. The NFL remains on schedule to do the same. However, it will continue to be business unusual with the pandemic continuing to rage out of control for the foreseeable future.
A memo informed all 32 pro teams this week the Combine “will be conducted in a different format.” In actuality, the Combine in Indianapolis has been canceled with all workouts taking place during individual pro days on college campuses.
The league will work with schools to encourage consistency “in testing and drills across pro days and ensure that all clubs have access to video from those workouts, irrespective of whether the club is represented at a particular workout.”
2021 Offseason Outlook: Edge Defenders By George Forder @GeorgeForder3 on Jan 18, 2021, 9:34am EST +
So much of the conversation about the future of the Miami Dolphins revolves around Tua Tagovailoa and the offense, but this team s early success came from the stellar play of their defense. Josh Boyer s (and Flo s) squad improved from the worst scoring defense in the NFL (30.9 ppg) to sixth (21.1 ppg). So, how did they do it? Chris Grier spent an exorbitant amount of money building up this side of the ball through free agency. They are now in the advantageous position of returning ten of their eleven starters on defense. With the cap shrinking for the 2021 season, they won t have a ton of money (they are projected to have just 25 million in cap space) to spend improving the defense. Though, a couple small-scale signings could go a long way towards adding depth in a few key positions. What follows is a break down, by position group, of the defense
