CooperVision expands manufacturing

CooperVision Specialty EyeCare has announced investments in its manufacturing facilities intended to accommodate increasing demand for its products.
The company said that it would grow its Gilbert, Arizona, plant to more than 45,000 square feet by 2025 with a refurbished shipping and warehouse centre, alongside a substantially larger manufacturing floor for its specialty lenses. The Sherbrooke, Quebec, facility would also receive funding to upgrade its lathing technology and laboratory space, said CooperVision.
Juan Carlos Aragon, CooperVision’s president of Specialty Eye Care, explained: ‘Extending our partnerships with the eye care community also insists that we regularly invest in our infrastructure, especially given our upward demand.’
