Introducing: Parāoa Brewing Co

Live entertainment, exciting food, interesting wines and locally brewed beers are just a few of the temptations being promised by the team behind new gastropub and bar Parāoa Brewing Co, which opens its doors next month.
Local businessman Zenice Gujarathi has transformed the former Eddie Law Appliances building off Whangaparāoa Road into a 700-square metre brewpub that will be able to seat up to 450 people.
There will be several dozen beers on tap, including four new Parāoa brews – Bowhead Lager, Humpback Pale Ale, Orca IPA and Southern Porter – and a wide range of quality wines from around the world. The pub’s own beers will eventually be brewed on-site, but for the time being are being made at Laughing Bones in Silverdale.
I ve been in clubs with floors covered in glitter, balloons, or even foam. I used to work at Texas Roadhouse where the floors were covered in peanut shells, but sand? Sand is a new one for me. I gotta admit.I don t hate it.
Scrolling through my Instagram feed I quickly saw a photo, taken from high up in some room and the floor looked odd, to say the least. It was enough to get me to stop scrolling and upon further inspection, I realized it was beach sand at none other than Pipe Dream Brewing in Londonderry, New Hampshire.
All Female Brewed Beer Dropping Friday at Portland Brewery
International Women s Day is on March 8th and March is Women s History Month. In honor of these special occasions celebrating women, an all-female crew at Austin Street Brewery in Portland joined forces for a can t miss brew.
Hitting taps this Friday is a brew called Fair Fight. This is a 4.5% Wheat Ale made with fresh ginger and peach. Austin Street Brewery will also be releasing all of their other beers that have been released on International Women s Day from previous years.
The name Fair Fight is a nod to their partnership with the Fair Fight Action organization, a political action committee that aims to promote fair elections according to their website.
