Hosting the 9th Annual âState Awards,â the Arkansas State Athletics Department brought all of the Red Wolves together Wednesday night at First National Bank Arena to celebrate their academic success, athletic achievements and community service for the 2020-21 year.
The event was highlighted by the announcement of Arkansas Stateâs major award winners from this year, but also featured a dinner, honored the Red Wolvesâ seniors and included special recognitions for others who contribute to the success of A-State Athletics.
THREE brothers nicknamed The Saints who died in an horrific suspected double murder-suicide have been named locally as Willie (66), Paddy Pa (60) and John (59) Hennessy from Corragorm, just outside Mitchelstown.
Two of the brothers were bludgeoned to death with an axe at the family farm in north Cork.
A third brother was recovered dead from the River Funshion outside Mitchelstown less than 1km from where his Toyota car was found parked near the church where the brothers usually worshipped following a massive Garda manhunt. Read More
Detectives fear that the double murder-suicide involving the Hennessy brothers was sparked by a dispute between the trio - described by locals as incredibly close over their lifetime - about the small 25 acre farm and the income derived from it against a background of health issues.

SHOCK and sadness has consumed Mitchelstown following the deaths of three brothers on the outskirts of the North Cork town in a suspected murder-suicide.
The three Hennessy brothers, Johnny, 59, Paddy, 60, and Willie, 66 were described by locals yesterday as quiet men .
Johnny and Willie were both single and lived on the family farm. Paddy was a separated father-of-two who was living nearby.
