Team, tracking dogs and air support but it was not until they were back the following night that they heard a call for help if they found 31year old, John Sione Pekipaki gravely injured. He later died at the scene. In a nearby area, deputies saw a man they believed to be the suspect fleeing in a vehicle. Reporter investigators fired at the vehicle trying to get the driver to stop. The suspect was not hit by gunfire but the vehicle went off the roadway into a ditch. The suspect was taken into custody and is receiving medical care for a laceration to his arm.
