Image courtesy of New Canaan Neighborhoods and New Canaan Housing Authority The rebuilding of the 60-unit Canaan Parish in a single five-story structure is “moving along very nicely,” Scott Hobbs, chair of the New Canaan Housing Authority, told members of the Board of Selectmen during their regular meeting Tuesday. “We should be able to get those houses online, hopefully, by the new school year, which would be great for tenants,” Hobbs said during the meeting, held both in person and via videoconference. “Because once we finish phase one, then we get to move all of the prior-slash-current residents of Canaan Parish, get to occupy building number one.”
