Shiv Sena on Monday said West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee made the Narendra Modi-Amit Shah duo bite the dust despite BJP putting in all its might in the state election.
In an editorial in its mouthpiece Saamana, Shiv Sena said, In Bengal, Mamata Banerjee scored a hat-trick of victories. She stopped the storm created by Modi-Shah. BJP s innings was all out under hundred. Mamata didi will go home after May 2, such rumours were spread. Prime Minister Modi used to raise such a slogan.BJP used a lot of money, power and government machinery to keep Mamata at home. Nevertheless, Mamata Banerjee won with her stubbornness.
PM for equipping peacekeepers with apt training, equipment

DHAKA, April 12, 2021 (BSS) – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today stressed the need for equipping peacekeepers with appropriate training and equipment with facing new crises in the peacekeeping operations at the advent of newer technologies alongside invisible enemies like the Coronavirus.
“At present, peacekeepers in UN peacekeeping missions have to deal with multidimensional and complex situations. The number of deaths of peacekeepers has also been rising at an alarming rate recently. So far, 158 Bangladeshi peacekeepers have died and 237 injured. The time has come to equip peacekeepers with appropriate training and equipment to deal with the new upcoming crises in UN peacekeeping operations. I hope required measures will be taken to this end,” she said.
