Shiv Sena on Monday said West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee made the Narendra Modi-Amit Shah duo bite the dust despite BJP putting in all its might in the state election.
In an editorial in its mouthpiece Saamana, Shiv Sena said, "In Bengal, Mamata Banerjee scored a hat-trick of victories. She stopped the storm created by Modi-Shah. BJP's innings was 'all out' under hundred. Mamata didi will go home after May 2, such rumours were spread. Prime Minister Modi used to raise such a slogan...BJP used a lot of money, power and government machinery to keep Mamata at home. Nevertheless, Mamata Banerjee won with her stubbornness."
