In Ghaziabad, most staff members from the municipal corporation did not turn up for the shots. Of the 625 employees whose names were listed for inoculation on Friday, only around 20 people took the shots. In the district, 1,875 frontline workers, including 625 corporation officials, 250 each from police department and NDRF, 500 personnel from PAC battalions (41st and 47th) and 125 each from civil defence and CISF were listed for vaccination. The turnout was 55% with 1,037 people taking the shots. The Ghaziabad had recorded high turnout in the earlier rounds.
