A first-time mother who gave birth to “non-identical” twins on different days shares about the rare yet special moment when she learned her babies were actually identical.
Kirsten Stevens, from Somerset, England, gave birth to identical twins, Hugo and Leo, 11 minutes apart at the midnight hour of June 6–7, 2019.

The gorgeous duo were not only unusual for being born on different days either side of midnight but it turned out there was something else against the odds too. Despite being in separate sacs in the womb, the boys turned out to be identical. Their mother is Kirsten Stevens, known as Dolly, who grew up on the Isle of Wight and went to Cowes High School and the Isle of Wight College. She met her husband Craig almost ten years ago in Southampton, and moved to Somerset to live with him in 2013. They married in 2017.
