Former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy on Sunday questioned the Kerala government s move to allegedly change the Kannada names of villages in Kasaragod district to Malayalam.
HD Kumaraswamy appealed to Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan to retain the original names of villages.
In a series of tweets, Kumaraswamy said, “It has come to my notice that the Kerala government has begun the process of changing the Kannada names of some of its villages in Manjeshwara of Kasaragod district into Malayalam.
