Over 3,000 investors in Goldenscape Greenhouses Ltd have told Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss George Kinoti to fast track investigations into their loss of money.
On Wednesday, they addressed a press conference in Lower Kabete, Westlands Constituency, where they vowed to take action if the DCI continues to drag its feet over the matter.
“It has been over a year since the greenhouses project company defaulted on their obligation to pay thousands of Kenyans who had invested in their project. As a result of the default, livelihoods have been shattered, homes broken and lives lost,” said John Opondo, chairman of the committee of aggrieved investors.

As youth look into exploring the available opportunities in agribusiness, Caroline Mwangi has advised them to do ample market research before diving in.
The Kimplanter Seedlings director said market research guided her path in dealing with spinach, cabbage, sukuma wiki, and tomatoes. She first started with passion fruit seedlings but realised other crop seedlings were in high demand.
Speaking on the agribusiness show on Vybez Radio, Mwangi said there are many opportunities in agriculture that youth can pursue such as app development, marketing, and IT.

2020 saw milk production go down: below demand. Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya, on several occasions, urged dairy farmers to step up operations and produce more milk.
The Kenya Dairy Board confirmed to The Smart Harvest and Technology that indeed milk production has gone down.
“In January, 2020 we registered 63.4 million litres of milk,” Margaret Kibogy, the managing director of the board, said.
