Fourteen residents of Blackrock Abbey Nursing Home die from Covid-19 By Simon Doyle The nursing home near Dundalk has confirmed the death toll in a statement. Blackrock Abbey Nursing Home has confirmed the number of residents who have died from Covid-19 has risen to 14.  It comes as the Irish Times reported the death toll at the nursing home near Dundalk had risen after six residents were originally said to have passed away from the virus. Management last week confirmed that a number  of residents had passed away since the beginning of January, with the outbreak infecting half of all residents.

The number of deaths at the privately owned nursing home has risen from six last week.
