IMEX America marks another milestone on the Road to Mandalay Bay

The global range of exhibitors due to show at IMEX America is coming from Greece to Milwaukee and from the Bahamas to Kansas and beyond.
As part of a new-look, education tracks have been redefined to maintain a firm focus on the new professional and personal development needs required in the current climate.
IMEX Group is inviting speakers and experts to participate in the show’s education and development program.
The international range of exhibitors contracted for IMEX America, taking place November 9 – 11, spans all sectors of the industry and includes destinations such as Greece, Detroit, Newport Beach, Michigan, the Bahamas, Aruba, Kansas, Milwaukee; together with companies including Club Med Groups & Incentives, Live Nation Special Events, Global DMC Network by JTB, Fiesta Americana Hotels & Resorts and The Hoxton.
Online recruitment platform
The Hub has gone live with candidates and job vacancies from event industry employers and recruiters, 17 May.
The Hub’s founder Robert Kenward said the platform, which is free to use for the next six months, is “community driven”, created to enable people to find work, and for companies and recruiters to find talent.
Kenward said The Hub has received job vacancies from the likes of Imagination, IMEX Group, DRPG, GPJ, Sleek Events, MCI Group, Montgomery, BCD Meeting and Events, Mash Media, XYZ, Nteractive, Identity, DN Events, ACA Live, Expocast and You Search & Select.
The Hub is supported by 19 community partners, including industry associations AEO, AEV and ESSA (working together as the EIA), EVCOM, HBAA, NOEA, AFO, ILEA (UK & Ireland Chapter), mia, MPI (UK & Ireland Chapter), ICCA (UK & Ireland Chapter), and industry groups and charities including the Alliance of Independent Event Agencies (AIEA), Diversity Ally, Eventprofslive, Meeting Need

IMEX announces new digital platform, BuzzHub, from 12 May
The IMEX Group is aiming to create a buzz among the global meetings community with the launch of a new digital platform, IMEX BuzzHub, on 12 May.
The new digital experience will run for over four months from May to September and is powered by Swapcard and managed by creative agency,
The IMEX BuzzHub will offer the global events community a platform of opportunities to learn, share knowledge and network based professional and personal interests.
The new concept, IMEX says, draws on customer research plus lessons learned from two editions of PlanetIMEX in 2020. IMEX’s agencies, partners and other experts have all played a role in shaping the content and formats which will allow visitors to choose from a variety of activities and sessions – all free of charge.
