COVID-19: TidalHealth offering rapid testing in Sussex County

TidalHealth is now providing rapid COVID-19 testing for symptomatic patients in Sussex County. Rapid tests are being offered at TidalHealth primary and immediate care offices in Georgetown, Seaford and Laurel. Results for rapid tests generally take about 15 minutes to determine, though the full appointment will likely be longer. “We are pleased to be able to provide expanded access to patients for COVID-19 testing in our offices so we can connect them with these treatment options early in the disease, helping to keep them out of the hospital,  said TidalHealth Vice President Karin DiBari. TidalHealth s rapid tests are only for people who are showing symptoms of COVID-19. They are not intended for people who, for example, need a test before traveling.
