Members of the public in Lautoka are advised that a section of the Narara Parade within the Sugar City’s central business district will be temporarily closed over the next six days.
This will allow Fiji Roads Authority workers to carry out emergency resurfacing works.
FRA acting CEO Kamal Prasad said the temporary road closure would be in place from 7am today (Tuesday, May 4) until Monday, May 10.
Mr Prasad said a part of Narara Parade from Elizabeth Square to Tappoo City Complex would be closed off to motorists.
He said detour routes would be set up for the duration of the road closure and motorists were advised to be courteous and obey all traffic signage and directions.
