Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has called a special general body meeting for the development plan report (DPR) of the newly-merged villages, which were touted as Nationalist
Congress Party’s (NCP) strongholds.
The move has irked the NCP and other opposition parties. They termed the meeting as illegal and have decided to approach the state government against this move.
