A TORNADO WATCH has been issued for parishes and counties north of I-10 until 10pm tonight. A TORNADO WATCH means conditions are favorable for tornadoes and/or damaging winds in and around the watch area. Be on the lookout for threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible warnings. If a tornado warning is issued, seek shelter in a low-level, interior room of a sturdy building. Take pets (on a leash) with you, have on hard-soled shoes, monitor storm coverage on a wireless device and cover your head in the event of wind or tornado impact. Tonight and Tomorrow: Skies will remain mostly cloudy overnight, with lows only falling to around 70. An isolated shower or two can t be ruled out. Tomorrow, expect a mix of sun and clouds through the day. Pop-up showers and storms will be possible in the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 80s.

SEVERE WEATHER OUTLOOK
Sunday: The Storm Prediction Center has issued a 2/5 slight risk for severe weather on Sunday. At this time, damaging wind and hail appear to be the main threats, but as usual, an isolated tornado is possible.
