Mexico Man Convicted Of Two Counts Of Sexual Abuse, Five Misdemeanors

OSWEGO COUNTY – According to District Attorney Gregory Oakes, this afternoon, May 7, an Oswego County Jury returned verdicts of guilty and convicted Paul Allen, 58, of Mexico of two counts of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree, a violent felony. He was also convicted of five misdemeanors, which included counts Forcible Touching, Sexual Abuse in the Second Degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. As alleged in the Indictment, the offenses involved two different child victims who were both less than 14-years old at the time. The incidents took place in the Town of New Haven between 2005 and 2019.

Ridley, 60, of 18 County Route 51, New Haven, 10 counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child, two counts of first-degree sex abuse, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, April 19, held to await arraignment in CAP Court.

One dead in motor vehicle accident in Constantia

CONSTANTIA - At around 10:52 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, members of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office discovered a one-vehicle motor vehicle accident on State Route 49 at the intersection of Adrian Circle in the town of Constantia, it appeared that the accident occurred moments before the discovery. Preliminary investigation has revealed that a 2004 Ford Mustang was traveling west on State Route 49 when it left the roadway on the north shoulder striking several trees. The driver and only occupant of the Ford Mustang was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident is still under investigation and the name of the person involved will be released pending proper notification to their family.
