The Yakima School District Offers Free 30 LB Combo Food Boxes
If you have a child in the Yakima School District you have probably received the e-mail notifications but just in case. The month of February the Yakima School District has set-up free 30 LB Combo Food Boxes to be picked-up at two different locations every Wednesday from 4 pm - 6:30 pm for families with children ages 1-18. One food box per vehicle until supplies run out.
The 30 LB free box will include an assortment of milk, hard and soft cheese, meat, fruits and vegetables for your family.

You can choose either Eisenhower High School, Davis High School for your pick-up and to make things as smooth as possible, bring your child s Yakima School District ID. If your child is not from the Yakima School District, they must be in the car with you. DECATUR â Mixing education and the criminal justice system has paid off for Millikin University professor Keyria Rodgers. What excites me most about this appointment is that I will be able to experience how research and evaluation drive policy and practice for juvenile justice all over the state of Illinois, she said.
The new experience on her resume is a natural addition for the 35-year-old.
Rodgers job at Millikin has focused on the criminal justice programs, which have grown quickly, from less than 10 majors to approximately 100, in three years. Professors and practitioners are important for growth. Rodgers is both, a pracademic.
As Joe Biden was sworn in as the 46th president of the United States, supporters across Chicagoland celebrated. Many focused on the historical moment of Kamala Harris’ swearing in to office, making her the first woman and first woman of color to become vice president.

LAWTON, Okla. (TNN) - The Eisenhower High School family is mourning the loss of coach and teacher Joseph McKenzie.
Joseph McKenzie taught math and was an assistant soccer coach at Eisenhower High School for the last six years.
“Imma miss him a lot. He felt like a grandfather to me, I never had a grandfather figure in my life, and he was always there for me whenever I needed him,” Rachid said.
Seth Rachid is a recent Eisenhower graduate who played for McKenzie throughout his high school career.
