Multiple drug charges filed out of Granite City Scott Cousins, scousins@thetelegraph.com FacebookTwitterEmail EDWARDSVILLE Multiple drug-related charges from Granite City ranging from delivery of cannabis to unlawful possession of methamphetamine and other controlled substances were filed by the Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office Wednesday. Akai J. Aikens, 37, of Centerville, was charged March 10 with unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, a Class 3 felony. According to court documents, on Feb. 5 Aikens allegedly was found to be in possession of more than 30 grams of cannabis with intent to deliver. Bail was set at $15,000. In a separate case, Domanick G. Tripp, 41, of Granite City, was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis 100-500 grams, a Class 4 felony.
