Multiple drug charges filed out of Granite City

EDWARDSVILLE — Multiple drug-related charges from Granite City — ranging from delivery of cannabis to unlawful possession of methamphetamine and other controlled substances — were filed by the Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office Wednesday.
Akai J. Aikens, 37, of Centerville, was charged March 10 with unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, a Class 3 felony.
According to court documents, on Feb. 5 Aikens allegedly was found to be in possession of more than 30 grams of cannabis with intent to deliver. Bail was set at $15,000.
In a separate case, Domanick G. Tripp, 41, of Granite City, was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis 100-500 grams, a Class 4 felony.
