Weymouth restaurants see light at end of tunnel

WEYMOUTH According to some restaurant owners, indoor dining is on the rise in Weymouth and across the region as the coronavirus pandemic eases.
Eric Papachristos, owner of The Venetian in East Weymouth, said things are getting a little better every day at his restaurant.
“It’s been a tough year, but we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel,” said Papachristos, who is also co-owner of Trade, a Boston restaurant, and Salon, in Cambridge s Harvard Square.
Papachristos said restaurant patronage should continue increase during the months ahead because people understand more about the coronavirus than they did last year.
This University Is Building a Black Only Residence
UConn is building a separate residence for black males. They think this racially segregated housing will help with retention and graduation.
The university hopes to “make UConn feel like home” and match students with like-minded peers. They have residences for environmentally-conscious students too.
Another type of safe space?
Dr. Erik Hines, a professor of educational psychology at UConn said black students are graduating at a lower rate “so the University of Connecticut was forward-thinking in bringing a solution to this issue.”
There is absolutely no common sense in this solution. What if we had an only white residence?
