However, during their visit to Iceland, Ubbe was introduced to a wanderer called Othere (Ray Stevenson).
Othere told the tale of a golden land’ to the west, presumably land which today is present-day America.
The idea of the golden land inspired Torvi and Ubbe to keep exploring a world beyond Kattegat.
Othere also revealed to Ubbe he was once a Christian monk named Athelstan (George Blagden), the same name of a character killed by Floki back in season three.
For Ubbe, Othere s former name suggested he had some form of connection to the missing Flokki.

At her Dartmouth, N.S., boxing club, coach Bridget Stevens shares the lessons she grew up with on the Eskasoni First Nation.
It s more important to her that fighters learn how to be good people and support each other than it is for them to win every match. What I m doing here is what our community members do to help one another, said Stevens, who owns Tribal Boxing Club on Windmill Road.
It s why even in the middle of a pandemic, she s offering free classes for youth who can t afford to pay. She wants boxing to be a refuge for those who need it, like it has been for her.

Nova Scotia reported two new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, the lowest number of new daily cases in a month.
There are 46 active cases in the province.
One of the new cases is in the western health zone and one is in the eastern zone. They are both related to travel outside Atlantic Canada and they are both self-isolating.
