However, during their visit to Iceland, Ubbe was introduced to a wanderer called Othere (Ray Stevenson).
Othere told the tale of a golden land’ to the west, presumably land which today is present-day America.
The idea of the golden land inspired Torvi and Ubbe to keep exploring a world beyond Kattegat.
Othere also revealed to Ubbe he was once a Christian monk named Athelstan (George Blagden), the same name of a character killed by Floki back in season three.
For Ubbe, Othere s former name suggested he had some form of connection to the missing Flokki.

Vikings season six part two is on History and Amazon Prime Video and the final season was full of surprises. Fans had been eagerly waiting to find out the fate of fan-favourite character Floki (played by Gustaf Skarsgård) and they were happy to see he was still alive. Vikings season six part two, otherwise known as part B, arrives on Amazon Prime Video on December 30. Sadly there will not be a season seven of the historical drama, so all the characters will see their storylines wrapped up in these final 10 episodes. Vikings season six part two is returning to Amazon Prime Video on December 30 and the final 10 episodes will pick up with Ubbe s (played by Jordan Patrick Smith) voyage to Iceland. He joined the mysterious Kjetill Flatnose (Adam Copeland) and the wanderer Othere (Ray Stevenson) on an adventure to find the Golden Land . In the first half of season six, fans learned of how dangerous Kjetill could be when he killed without hesitation, and there is a chance he may become leader of Iceland as his hunger for power intensifies.
VIKINGS season 6 part 2 is on its way to Amazon Prime Video and fans are keen to find out what Kjetill and Othere s motives are. Are Kjetill and Othere working together to kill Ubbe?
