For votes in Tuscaloosa’s districts 1 and 6, there is work still to be done.
A runoff election for the City Council in these districts is Tuesday. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The locations are the same as those during the general municipal election on March 2.
For District 1 voters, ballots can be cast at the Tuscaloosa Department of Transportation (TDOT) Building Auditorium at 1000 28th Ave.
In District 6, voters will go to the Belk Activity Center at 2101 Bowers Park Drive.
Winners will be sworn into office May 17.
District 1
In District 1, where 19% of qualified electors cast ballots in the March 2 municipal election, voters will select one of two City Council newcomers to replace outgoing Councilwoman Phyllis W. Odom, who opted not to seek re-election.
