Rise in value of luxury items means they are being tussled over by estranged couples in court

The soaring value of luxury items has led to a rise in “handbag divorces”, as estranged couples tussle over designer watches, high heels and expensive road bikes in front of unimpressed judges.
Divorcing spouses now argue over clothing and shoes in the same way they have historically done over property, cars and more traditional, larger assets, lawyers have reported.
It comes as the courts, which were already close to capacity before the pandemic, manage a backlog which could see couples waiting more than a year for a hearing.

Green Tiger Beetles (Cicindela campestris) are large, striking beetles that are easily identified by their iridescent green colouring and characteristic yellow spots. They are relatively widespread in the UK and can be found in the spring and early summer. They are closely related to the Heath Tiger Beetle (Cicindela sylvatica), a species which is now extremely rare in the UK and found in only a handful of places in the south of England. Sadly, Heath Tiger Beetles have experienced a dramatic decline over the last few decades with the loss and degradation of lowland heathland.

Microsoft co-founder Bill has now hired lawyers at the legal firm started by his close friend, US tycoon Warren Buffett, amid claims the pair do not have a pre-nup.
Marblehead volleyball opens up with comeback win over Beverly

The Marblehead volleyball team dropped the first set to Beverly in its season opener on March 4 at the high school gym. But the Magicians shook off the results of that first set to take the next three to beat the Panthers, 3-1.
The first set was tied at 24, before Beverly grabbed the next two points to win it, 26-24. There were 11 lead changes in the first set, but Beverly prevailed after Marblehead came back from a 24-20 deficit.
The second set had a few lead changes early on, but Marblehead kicked it into high gear when they were up, 20-15. They ended up winning it, 25-17. With a 12-11 lead early on, the Magicians picked up their play and never let Beverly cut into it.
