Wine and dine at new Gainesville business Superette The wine bar and specialty market opened Feb. 12 The new business opened Feb. 12 and features an outdoor wine garden. A new local business is bringing a casual wine and dine experience to Gainesville. Superette Wine & Provisions, a wine bottle shop, speciality market, wine bar and event space located at 1511 NW 2nd St., opened Feb. 12, offering something for everyone in the community.  Co-owners Maya Velesko, 45, and Katherine Haswell, 41, said the opening weekend was full of love and support. “The feedback we have received has ranged from relief that we have occupied this landmark building that has housed beloved Gainesville enterprises before us and admiration of our build-out and design, in particular the wine garden,” the owners wrote in an email.

(GREG LOVETT/THE PALM BEACH POST) West Palm Beach Officer Dena Concheso remembers the first time she saw 7-year-old Anai Reymundo smile since the crash.  Concheso said in the weeks after the crash, she’d visit the children, who were taken in by the family’s pastor, to check in and bring them things to help them get by: diapers for baby Moses, small gifts for the children, anything donated to the department as more and more people learned of their story.

West Palm Beach Officer Dena Concheso remembers the first time she saw 7-year-old Anai Reymundo smile since the crash.  Concheso said in the weeks after the crash, she’d visit the children, who were taken in by the family’s pastor, to check in and bring them things to help them get by: diapers for baby Moses, small gifts for the children, anything donated to the department as more and more people learned of their story.  As little Jessica recovered and gave hugs to Concheso, accompanied by broad smiles, during each visit, Anai finally cracked a grin one day and opened her arms as well.
