A California woman was reunited with her dog in Omaha after it went missing from her yard in San Jacinto back in December. The 2-year-old teacup Yorkshire terrier named Pebbles has had quite the journey.Her owner, Deanna Garcia, said Pebbles was stolen from her lawn in December.She never gave up, posting fliers around her neighborhood trying to find Pebbles. I ve been to the pound, the vet, I was going every weekend, she said. I thought it was over. Omaha couple Beth Carter and Shane Smith discovered the Yorkie on their street last Friday. I heard my dogs barking outside so I went to check it out and there she was, Carter said.Thanks to a microchip, a vet was able to alert Garcia that her pup was found.Carter and Smith took care of Pebbles until Garcia flew into Omaha Thursday night.
