She made it through the Holocaust and is now determined to live through the pandemic and get back to telling her story at local schools. I am hoping that I will have a little more time to be able to do that again, she told KETV. Williams said she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma just days ago. It s a type of blood cancer that affects plasma cells. My doctor said it would be nice if you could get your vaccine, she explained.Her niece, Dr. Judy Stone, said their whole family tried finding an available appointment in Pottawattamie County. I called every pharmacy that s listed there, and they all said we don t have a vaccine, said Stone.Stone said multiple pharmacies told them no appointments were available. While attempting to schedule an appointment at Walgreens, Stone received a message saying that her aunt was not eligible for a COVID-19 vac
