All I can say is, thank goodness the teller asked questions. She asked the grandmother what she needed the money for and the teller knew this didn t sound right.

Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for a man accused of having several illegal marijuana growing operations across the Oklahoma City metro.Police recently released body camera video that shows the moment officers found plants growing in an Edmond garage.The incident started when a lawn service worker noticed something strange with the garage, so he called the landlord. Police were called, and they found an illegal marijuana grow. This kind of thing, unfortunately, can happen anywhere, said Emily Ward, with the Edmond Police Department.According to court documents, police found 42 plants, jars of marijuana and equipment for growing. It was clear there was some type of operation operating out of this house, Ward said.Police said the man operating the grow is Alejandro Ruiz, who they realized had ties to three other illegal grows in Edmond and a few others across the metro with pounds of marijuana found. According to police, they were uncovered after a landscaper alerted a landlord and reported concerns at an Edmond home. According to investigators, Roland Ruiz was renting three properties. For the most part, the homes were empty with the exception of the garages that police said were full of marijuana plants. Police: Police department, make yourself known! Edmond police!             A stash of marijuana plants was uncovered after a landlord was alerted to the odor of marijuana coming from the home. “He has a daughter that I thought was living with him, but I don t think there is anyone living there, honestly. He s doing something else there, but not living,” said one landlord in a 911 call.
