Working in a company for many years, decades even, can be a great thing: you know everyone and everything. You’re an expert in the job that you have, you have respect from others and most probably are satisfied with the pay, working hours, and other things that go into the contract.
So if those things are changed, for example, when the company is sold, it can really be a deal breaker, especially if those changes have to do with vacation days. Reddit user Rusticwhiskey shared a story of how an employee that had worked for the company for four decades got his revenge for reducing his vacation days.

More than one in five companies are offering employees more vacation time this year, a recent survey from executive coaching firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas finds.

When Kate Compton Barr paused just long enough in a recent Zoom meeting to notice the exhausted expressions on her employeesâ faces, the CEO of socially responsible baby product company Pip & Grow had a wake-up call.
So she decided to do something unconventional: Pause operations for the month of August and give her staff four full weeks of paid time off. Within hours of announcing the move on Instagram, she says she received more than 100 messages from people wanting to work for her.
Dr. Stephen Jones, Health Services executive director, said the vaccine is available at four CN health facilities.
âThe Pfizer for 12 to 15 is available at our clinics now. The clinics that have Pfizer are Muskogee, Tahlequah, Vinita and Sallisaw,â he said.Â
Jones said the Pfizer vaccine would be available at the smaller CN health facilities at least three days a week. Walk-ins for youth to get the vaccine are available, though it is recommended for their parents to make appointments.Â
âWe are working through our pediatric providers also to get as many people vaccinated as want vaccinated. We are working off of a walk-in type system but it is better for us if we know someone is coming,â Jones said.
