Kathmandu, July 18 Two political developments-one within the CPN-UML and the other within the Janata Samajbadi Party-on Saturday provided indications on the immediate direction of Nepali politics in the form of the fate of the Sher Bahadur Deuba government.
How these developments will take a final shape will decide whether Deuba continues as prime minister for the full term of the House of Representatives, which has some 18 months to go, or there will be midterm polls within six months. Deuba needs to take a vote of confidence in the House by August 11 failing which the House will be dissolved and snap polls called.

From fiction to nonfiction, poetry is defying a single genre. From literature to art, poetry is defying a single form. Poetry s malleability is even more apparent when words are fused with visual images to bring poetry to life in a new way.
The influence of poetry in visual arts is not a new phenomenon and seems to be growing every day. On YouTube, a long list of homemade minimalist poetry videos is piling. Numerous international poetry video festivals that celebrate poetic films are happening across the globe. One example is the Button Poetry video contest. On its playlist of the 2018 video contest, you even see an honourable mention of Nepali poet Rupesh Bhattarai with his poem titled A Passport for My Mother .

With this announcement, China has become by far the largest vaccine donating country to Nepal. In total, Nepal will receive 3.4 million doses of Chinese vaccines.
Nepal has also bought four million doses of Vero Cell vaccines from China under a non-disclosure agreement, of which 800,000 doses have been received.
