You need an appointment for more business at the MVC now. Change should shorten wait times.

State Motor Vehicle Commission officials added three more in-person transactions at agencies that will require an appointment, starting Monday March 1.
“With these additions, almost all in-person transactions will be handled using appointments now,” said Sue Fulton, MVC Chief Administrator in a statement. “Due to our aggressive push online, we’ve reduced the number of transactions conducted in agencies from more than half to nearly a quarter over the course of the (coronavirus) pandemic.”
Beginning Friday, customers can schedule appointments starting Monday, March 1, for these in-person transactions at agencies:
